The Epson Workforce DS-790WN A4 network scanner has replaced the DS-780N model.
The Epson Workforce DS-790WN is a high-speed, A4 desktop scanner that has many key features, resulting in effective scanning and distribution of documents across numerous locations.
With ScanWay, stand-alone scanning, files can be saved to multiple destinations across a network without the need for a personal computer. Added security comes in the form of advanced authentication – personal login details and PIN codes increase security in work environments where protecting sensitive data is paramount. Further flexibility is offered with the Epson Smart Panel app which allows direct scanning from a smartphone or tablet.
Other useful features, on the DS-790WN, include a 100-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF) for scanning single/double sided pages and the ability to digitise receipts, business cards, laminated card, and anything between: 27 – 413 gsm. Added to this is the DS-790WN’s ability to scan long documents.
Epson have also included inbuilt sensors that ensure paper jams and double feeding are kept to a minimum. Dirt on glass detection helps to ensure documents are scanned to the highest quality.
