Network Scanners allow you to scan and share your digitised documents across a shared network.
Perfect for office environments where every member of staff is connected to the same network, users can scan important documents and share instantly to another colleague via a range of methods such as shared folder, email or cloud access point (such as Evernote, OneDrive etc).
Many network scanners work as a standalone unit. This means that once they are connected to a single power source and computer, any user can approach the scanner and select their scan settings from a list of pre-determined functions, then share to their desired destination.
Pre-determined jobs may be anything from scanning 50 black and white documents and saving in a specific shared folder, to scanning 5 full-colour documents and sending via email instantly to a particular address. Many network scanners include small displays on the front, which makes these jobs a lot easier.
Traditionally, network scanners only came in A4 desktop scanner form, with a document scanner's connection to the network dictating its upload speed (thus hindering it), but now we are seeing a great range of A3 production scanners with network capabilities! Both the Canon DR-G2090 and Kodak Alaris S3060 are great examples of networkable A3 document scanners. You can view more Canon scanners or Kodak Alaris scanners on our website too.
