The ScanPro 2500 Manual will not automatically move the fiche carrier or scan fiche / jackets but can automatically scan roll films. For enhanced automatic fiche / jacket functionality, you will need to purchase the ScanPro 2500 Auto Microfilm Scanner. The 2500 Auto Microfilm Scanner is equppied with an AUTO-Carrier™ for scanning fiche and jackets. The AUTO-Carrier allows you to automatically move from image-to-image with a single click, automatically scan a range of images, groups of images, the entire fiche or jacketed fiche, making every job a breeze.
ScanPro Advantage Membership Licence
The ScanPro 2500 Manual Microfilm Scanner is equipped with a ScanPro Advantage Membership Licence. The first six months are free, to continue to use all the features and benefits listed above, you will need to purchase a ScanPro Advantage Membership.
Membership licences are available for one or three years and can be added to your ScanPro microfilm / fiche scanner at any time.
The ScanPro 2500 Manual Microfilm Scanner will work without a ScanPro Advantage Membership licence but roll film scan speed will be reduced down to 20 images per minute or less (depending on the film) as opposed to 70 - 100 images per minute.
