Difference Between V550 & V600?
Both of these scanners are very similar - they look identical and function in almost exactly the same way. The key difference between the two is in the Digital ICE technology, built into the hardware of the scanner. Digital ICE technology removes dust particles from the final scanned image. In the V550, this feature works for film media. In the V600, this feature works for film and photographs.
If you are looking to save a little extra money and do not think you will need to scan photographs at all, then the V550 might be the right option. Although, we would recommend paying the extra to save yourself hassle further down the line. Link below to purchase the Perfection V600
